Gusty winds carry over to Thursday
Sunshine will return for the afternoon
WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen says that the rain/snow mix in south central Kansas will clear the area during the overnight, but the gusty winds will roll on into Thursday.
Clouds will be stuck in central and eastern Kansas early Thursday with low temperatures in the 20s and 30s. North winds will make it feel colder, but heading into the afternoon, skies will clear and temperatures will warm into the 50s. Gusty winds will relax by Thursday night.
Friday and Saturday should be sunny days with highs warming into the 60s going into the weekend. South winds will start ramping up Saturday and Sunday, with much of the state windy again by the end of the weekend.
